VIC & PAM DESRUISSEAUX’S NEW 2004 Z06

Vic and Pam stumbled across a great deal that they just couldn’t pass up which resulted in the purchase of their new 2004 Commemorative Z06. The car was purchased from a private party through Cranberry Chevrolet in Wareham, MA. The car originated from Kerbeck Chevrolet in Atlantic City, N.J. and was never registered. It had been sitting in a garage with the window sticker in the windshield and the plastic still on the seats.

This is the last of the fifth generation C5 Corvette. Dave Hill’s goal for the 2004 Z06 was to make it the quickest corvette ever produced sending the C5 out with a bang. This Commemorative Edition celebrates Corvette’s back-to-back class victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and is the last Z06 of the C5 generation. The Z06 Commemorative package includes special Le Mans Blue paint, black leather interior with cross-flags embroidered into the headrests, exterior badges acknowledging Corvette’s Le Mans success along with a carbon fiber hood available only on the Commemorative edition. It has a 6 speed manual transmission and 405 HP.

The car made its maiden voyage to Loon Mountain in New Hampshire with the great company of many other Cape Cod Corvette Club Cars and Members. Vic kept his new found 405 HP under control and behaved himself so as to avoid a verbal lashing from Pam and Janet !!!
