"I never thought about owning a Corvette. It was November 5, 1970 and this 1961 was for sale, priced too reasonable to pass up- even though I was going on active military duty the next day. In 1991 I started restoration and eleven years later (Oct 2002) it went back on the road - soft top and a few other things remain to be done. Maintain it ! Enjoy it ! Drive it !!!"
